Please be advised of the below new Mandatory requirement that has now come into force due to new customs system requirements in Mauritania.
In order to ensure compliance Grimaldi are forced to only accept/confirm a booking if the below information has been made available. Cargo will not be loaded without the below having been provided.
It is important to understand that the Customs regime in Mauritania is very rigid so we cannot make or accept any exceptions.
We would suggest that all shippers when looking to make a booking have gained Blading instructions sufficient to provide the necessary as set out below.
Mandatory data for Blading and Manifest requirements are:
1) HS CODE of the cargoes
2) NIF (TAX IDENTIFICATION NUMBER) for companies or
3) NNI (national identification number / Passport number) for persons (Consignee)
